This was a ride that started in Westlake Village, then moved up into the Santa Monica Mountains. We went up "the wall" which was a healthy climb near the beginning, then bombed all the way down to Malibu. With as much fun as that was, I knew that we were going to need to go back over the mountains to get home, and that meant climbing even more than we did to get down to the ocean.

Location: Santa Monica Mountains, between Westlake Village (north) and Malibu (south)

Directions: We started in Westlake Village, rode up Mulholland Highway to Encinal Canyon Road, then went up over Mt. Zuma on the way back.
