It pours hazy burnt orange with a white head. A musty, grassy, dank aroma dominates but I pick up pine and citrus undertones, which is surprising considering the hop varieties they use. My guess is that it is so heavily dry hopped that I loose those citrus and pine tones and pick up more of the vegetal hop aromas. However, the taste is very distinctly grapefruit. It has a strong bitterness that tastes like I'm biting into a grapefruit rind.  There is a mild malt character there to support the heavy bitterness, but true to style, it's a hopcentric beer. I'll have it again and again but it's not at the top of my list for an IPA.
